News, Products

Two piece of bacon, two slices of Monterey Jack cheese, smothered with special sauce and sandwiched between two breaded and fried chicken breasts. This sounds like food to eat if you like to gamble with your health. You may have guessed what it is already, thanks to all the hype on the internet about KFC’s new Double Down.

The hype however isn’t good  about 99% of the time. From statements like “Angina on a Plate” and “The Vilest Food Product Created by Man”  it’s safe to say that the Double Down has become more notorious than popular since it’s come out for consumers to eat.

There is no denying that this is not a health food. The Washington Post checked the KFC website to find out what the actual nutrition facts were supposed to be for this fried chicken sandwich. It weights in at 540 calories with 32 total grams of fat. And that’s just a couple of things.  But one has to agree that it’s definitely not the worst thing out there, even thought it’s more than definitely not the best either.

What is your take on the Double Down? Have you tried on yet or planning to? Are you in agreement that this food isn’t fit for human consumption?
