As if you needed a new reason to have a glass of red wine. Wine isn’t just good for your heart but apparently it’s now good for keeping you from gaining weight!

A recent study, published in the latest issue of Archives of Internal Medicine, showed that women who drink 1-2 glasses of wine (particularly red wine) seem to put on less weight and are less likely to become overweight compared to non-drinkers. This held true after considering lifestyle and diet choices that may influence it.

“Our study results showed that middle-aged and older women who have normal body weight initially and consume light-to-moderate amount of alcohol could maintain their drinking habits without gaining more weight compared with similar women who did not drink any alcohol,” said Dr. Lu Wang in an email to Reuters Health.

Of course too much alcohol can harm your health, so keep it to the moderate 1 or 2 glasses! So when you’re about to raise a glass of the vino, remember it can possibly keep not only your heart healthy but your waist trim!

I have been surfing online more than three hours today, yet I never found any interesting article like yours. It is pretty worth enough for me. Personally, if all web owners and bloggers made good content as you did, the internet will be much more useful than ever…
