Kale Crisps, a Healthy and Guilt Free Snack!

It’s always great to find an healthy snack, and this one is also a great alternative to potato chips! Kale crisps are a low carb, low calorie, and cholesterol free!

    Serves 5
    Time required 30 minutes
    Difficulty level 2
    Cost of ingredients 5 USD

  • 16 ounces (about 500g) fresh kale
  • 1 tablespoon (15ml) red wine vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons (45ml) olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon (3 ml) salt

Rinse the kale and trim off the stems.

In a large bowl whisk together olive oil, salt, and vinegar. Add the kale to the bowl and toss to coat each leaf.

Place the kale on parchment lined baking sheets and bake in pre-heated oven at 350F (175C) for about 20 minutes, less time if they become crispy quicker. If they aren’t crisp yet turn up the heat to 400F (200C).

Serve as a snake or along side of sandwiches, wraps, burgers, or when ever you’d like something more healthy than potato chips!!
