Smoothies are great for a quick breakfast or for a fast treat. This one has our food of the day, kiwi fruit, included to give it’s extra benefits to this healthy beverage!
- 1 banana, peeled and sliced
- 1 cup (250ml) strawberries
- 1 cup (250ml) blackberries
- 2 kiwi, peeled chopped into chunks
- 1 cup (250ml) milk
- 1 cup (250ml) plain yogurt
Serves 2 – 4
Time required 5 minutes
Difficulty level 1
Cost of ingredients 6 USD
Place all of the fruit, milk, and yogurt into a blender or food processor and blend until smooth. If a blender is not available, use a fork to mash the fruit into a fine pulp then add the yogurt and milk and mix well.
Eat right away or refrigerate. This can also be turned into a cool treat by freezing in ice cubes and then blended later on if you have too much!
