Smoothies are one healthy way to get some fruit into your body during the day and can be a cool a refreshing snack! This one includes pineapple, honeydew and pear to give a refreshing flavor that will cool you down when it’s hot outside!

- 1 cup (250ml) honeydew melon,
- 1 pear, peeled and core removed
- 1 cup (250ml) pineapple
- 1 cup (250ml) apple juice
- 1 banana, peeled
- 2 cups (500ml) ice
Place melon, pear, pineapple, apple juice, banana and ice in a blender and blend until smooth.
Banana is not necessary, but helps to bind the ingredients together and keep them from separating.
This is also good as an adult beverage with the addition of alcohol or can be a great light and tasty breakfast!
