Here’s a recipe for a fresh Green Kiwi Pineapple Fruit drink for Earth day! This is refreshing and wonderfully tropical in flavor. It goes great with a light meal and if you’d like, it will make a base for a sweet cocktail!
Serves 4
Time required 10 minutes
Difficulty level 1
Cost of ingredients 5 USD
- 4 kiwi fruits, peeled and sliced
- ½ cup (125ml) pineapple juice
- 4 cups crushed ice
Place all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
If you do not have a blender, you can do this like a granita by mixing the pineapple juice and kiwi fruit together, using the back of a fork to mash the kiwi into a pulp. Pour into a flat container, such as a casserole dish and place in the freezer.
Check every 10 minutes, and using the fork rake through the kiwi and pineapple juice. This will cause it to form ice crystals and make it slushy. Either omit the crushed ice or keep it in as chunks and pour into a glass and serve.
