Who says the only thing that you can grill is chicken, hamburgers and ribs? This Memorial Day weekend try this delicious grilled pizza with feta cheese and summer veggies like zucchini and fresh tomatoes!
- 1 tomato, sliced
- 1 zucchini sliced
- 2 ounces feta cheese (or cheese of your choice)
- 1 cup (250ml) fresh spinach, chopped
- Pinch salt
- Pinch pepper
- ½ teaspoon oregano
- Your favorite pizza dough
Serves 4
Time required 20 minutes
Difficulty level 2
Cost of ingredients 6 USD
First, make sure the grill is clean and oiled so that the dough will slide easily, before heating it up.
Roll out the pizza dough. Make sure it’s not so thin it will break apart when moving it. Place on the hot grill and allow to cook for a couple of minute and flip over and grill again. Remove from grill.
Place cheese, tomato, zucchini and spinach on top of the dough and sprinkle salt, pepper and oregano on top, then return to grill. If using charcoal, make sure there is a spot that isn’t directly over the coals, so the toppings will cook and cheese will melt, but the dough won’t burn before then.
Make sure when grilling pizza, to keep a close watch as the dough can burn quickly if not attended. Also if using heavy toppings like meat or thick slices of vegetables, you may want to grill them a bit first to get them cooked through part of the way before adding to the pizza.

Hello, I was scanning something different about this on another blog. Interesting. Your perspective about it is diametrically contradicted from what I read earlier. I’m still pondering on the opposite points of view, but I’m leaning to a great extent toward yours. And irrespective, that’s what is so good about modern-day democracy and the marketplace of ideas online.

Together with everything that appears to be building inside this specific area, many of your perspectives are generally very refreshing. On the other hand, I am sorry, but I can not subscribe to your entire theory, all be it exciting none the less. It seems to me that your comments are generally not entirely justified and in fact you are yourself not even thoroughly certain of the argument. In any case I did take pleasure in reading it.
