Mother’s Day Menu from the Made in Kitchen Community

Tomorrow is Mother’s Day! We all love our mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, whoever the woman was that has taken care of us, taught us, nurtured us, fed us. That means tomorrow is the day to do the same sort of thing for her!

Food is one of those things that has always been associated with our mother and is a great way to show that special woman how much we care. Let’s look to the community for some great menu ideas for a day of giving Mom a rest while we go in the kitchen and make something with the same love she always has for us!

Grandma Nanda’s Country Style Omelette submitted by ElenaM is a lovely way to start the day. This omelette is a unique one with peas, green beans, asparagus and zucchini (courgettes) to make a green and healthy breakfast .

Stuffed Yellow Peppers by Mimmo Corcione and a small May Pie from Redazione MiK is a beautiful lunch meal, that is fresh and bright and perfect for a Spring day.

For dinner how about Chicken Breast Stuffed with Goat Cheese and Basil given to us by SimpleFoodie with some Simply Greek Mediterranean Couscous from Fooducopia! A Fresh and light meal that is sure to make Mom happy.

For the end of Mother’s Day, treat Mom to a dessert of Tiramisu Partait with Homemade Mascarpone Cheese! Luckily anna.m was kid enough to do these in single portions so no one feels too heavy afterwards to  do something fun before the night is over!
