Bagels are a breakfast favorite. They also make a great lunch sandwich. This Norwegian smoked salmon bagel includes a caper cream cheese that gives a subtle salty taste that makes you think of the sea!
- 6 plain bagels
- 5 ounces (150g) thinly sliced smoked salmon
- 6 tablespoons ( 90ml) plain cream cheese
- 3 tablespoons (45ml) capers
Serves 6
Time required 10 minutes
Difficulty level 1
Cost of ingredients 8 USD
Toast bagels either in the oven for a couple of minutes or in a toaster. If using the oven, make sure to keep an eye on it so that it won’t burn.
Chop capers into fine bits and place in a bowl. Add plain cream cheese to bowl and mix well.
Spread caper cream cheese on each bagel side and place slices of smoked salmon on top. Top with the other bagel half and cut in half and serve!
