You may have heard about Burger King announcing that they would be adding beer to their menu at their new “Whopper Bar” that will be opening in South Beach, Miami. It was mentioned last week that El Bulli was going to close for 2 years, re-opening in 2014. Now we find that, considered by many to be, the world’s best restaurant is not closing for 2 years but permanently. Ferran Adria said last Friday that he decided to close El Bulli because the restaurant and Adria’s Barcelona workshop had been eating up half a million Euros a year.
